It\u2019s the\u00a0<strong>NFPA 2112<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the American standard for protection against short-term thermal exposures to fire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This standard certifies several parameters, including:<\/p>\n<table class=\"cke_show_border aligncenter\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\u2022<\/td>\n<td><strong>Flame resistance test<\/strong>\u00a0(#ASTM D6413) on the original fabric and after 100 wash cycles.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\u2022<\/td>\n<td><strong>Heat resistance and thermal shrinkage test<\/strong>\u00a0(#ASTM F2894) on the original fabric and after 3 wash cycles.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\u2022<\/td>\n<td><strong>Manikin test<\/strong>\u00a0(#ASTM F1930) using a coverall and after 1 wash cycle.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\u2022<\/td>\n<td><strong>Heat Transfer Performance test<\/strong>\u00a0(HTP) (#ASTM F2700) on the original fabric and after 3 wash cycles.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The\u00a0<strong>427 Rip-Stop Tecvin<\/strong>\u00a0is a fabric made of Aramid, Viscose, and Antistatic fibers, offering excellent thermal and mechanical performance, including high tensile and tear strength. It\u2019s a\u00a0<strong>multi-sectoral fabric<\/strong>\u00a0(used in petrochemical, electrical, forestry, glass, military, police sectors\u2026), which is why we decided to expand its certification scope by obtaining the\u00a0<strong>NFPA 2112 standard<\/strong>.
