Additional requirements are also specified including design requirements, mechanical requirements, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>A classification system is provided for materials, sets of materials and garments that are tested according to ISO 15025 method A.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;REQUIREMENTS&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1686218509281-4a986197-999f&#8221;][vc_column_text woodmart_inline=&#8221;no&#8221; text_larger=&#8221;no&#8221;]-The number of samples and the size of the materials and garments must be in accordance with the test procedures. The samples must be taken from the original garment or from the set of garments.<\/p>\n<p>-Pre-treatment: Before all tests, the cleaning treatment must be carried out according to the manufacturer&#8217;s instructions. In the limited flame spread test, the test must be carried out before and after the pre-treatment. If the manufacturer does not indicate otherwise, 5 washing and drying cycles will be carried out.<\/p>\n<p>-In the event that the garment undergoes a flame propagation maintenance process, the manufacturer must indicate the maximum number of washing and drying cycles before applying the treatment so that the garment maintains the performance.<\/p>\n<p>-Conditioning: minimum 24 h at 20 \u00b1 2 \u00baC with a relative humidity of 65 \u00b1 5 %. If any set contains materials with index 1, they must not be in contact with the skin.<\/p>\n<p>-It must be visually verified when the garment is worn by the user.<\/p>\n<p>-A protective garment must consist of several separate garments or it can be a single garment with one or more layers.<\/p>\n<p>General requirements that are not covered in this standard must be in accordance with ISO 13688.<\/p>\n<p>-The hardware that runs through the outer material of the garment or set of garments must not be exposed to the innermost surface of the garment or set of garments. This conformity will be verified visually.<\/p>\n<p>A two-piece set of appropriate size for the wearer should overlap between the jacket and pants which remain standing with the wearer extended above the head and then bend over until the fingertips touch the ground. In addition, the wrists and forearms should remain covered in an upright position.
