OBJECT

This standard sets out requirements and test methods for protective clothing against the effects of precipitation (e.g. rain, snow), fog and soil moisture. Other effects other than precipitation such as splashes of water and waves are excluded from this standard, as well as the requirements for separate footwear, gloves and headgear.
