Tecnología Geatex

Geatex Technology is a technology applied to the technical fabrics manufactured by Lenard, designed for the official, military, and high-risk security sectors, as well as for anti-riot environments.

The base fabrics incorporating Geatex Technology are permanently flame-retardant, provide high mechanical performance, and comply with the most demanding EN ISO standards required for these environments.

Geatex technology is based on a special dyeing, printing, and finishing process, which ensures precise chromatic coordinates (CIE Lab) with their corresponding tolerances (ΔE, ΔC, ΔH) when required. It also guarantees degradation and color fastness discharge indices according to EN ISO 105 standards. Finally, through spectrophotometric analysis, it allows for the measurement of infrared reflectance percentages for each color within the 800–1200 nm wavelength range, as specified in official technical requirements.

Geatex Technology also enables the integration of special finishes into technical fabrics, such as oil repellency or resistance to explosive mixtures, including Molotov-type cocktails.

All these properties ensure user comfort, with a soft and pleasant touch, while maintaining flame-retardant properties, durability after washing, and supporting sustainability through reduced water consumption, energy efficiency, lower carbon footprint, and the absence of harmful substances such as formaldehydes.
