This garment constitutes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which complies with the essential health and safety requirements specified in the article 5 and appendix of the regulation EU 2016/425.

Similarly, this PPE complies with the requirements contained in the European standards EN 13688/13 (General requirements for protective clothing), EN 11612/15 (Clothing for protection against heat and flames), EN 1149/5-18 (Protective clothing with electrostatic properties) and IEC 61482-2/20 (Clothing for protection against thermal arc hazards).

This garment is suitable for protecting covered areas during exposure to heat and against electrostatic charges in order to eliminate the static charges accumulated in it to prevent the formation of sparks which may cause a fire. The requirements may not be sufficient in atmospheres diluted with oxygen. This garment is not suitable for protection against electrical stresses. You should adjust the garment using its zip, buttons, Velcro strap or a combination of the above. You should never work with the garment unfastened. In the event that the sleeves are too long, you should never fold them to shorten them. Take measurements of the piece of the spare sleeve, cut it with scissors and then finish the sewing with M-Aramid thread.

PROPER USE. Garments for protection against general thermal hazards (flammability, heat by convection and radiant heat) manufactured in accordance with this standard should not spread flames when they accidentally come into contact with them. In addition, with regard to their electrostatic properties, antistatic protective garments manufactured in accordance with this standard should prevent the formation of sparks which may cause an ignition point. This PPE is suitable for activities in which a reduction of electrostatic charges is required, thus preventing the risks of ignition by sparks from different substances and their vapours, as well as the risk linked to the incomplete elimination of the electrical discharge of different devices.

However, under certain conditions (for example, flammable environments enriched with oxygen with very sensitive materials or explosive mixtures), you should be warned that the protection offered by the garment may be insufficient and that other means of protection should be used. You should remain in direct contact with the ground by means of conductive footwear or a conductive earth and the clothing should not be removed in an explosive atmosphere.

(*) For further information or in the event of any queries, please contact the numbers indicated above.

IMPROPER USE: attention should be drawn to the dangers entailed by improper use. This PPE’s level of protection is altered if it is not worn properly fastened and closed. This PPE should never be used for hazards other than those indicated above (e.g. chemical products).

The dirt deposited on the surface of the fabric may negatively affect the performance levels, and therefore this PPE should be washed when it is really necessary, like other textile garments, in accordance with the instructions on the label stitched to the garment and more than are shown above.

Before each use, especially if the PPE has been previously worn and/or washed, it should be properly checked and even thrown way if, due to its appearance, it creates any doubts about its level of protection.

*THE PROTECTION IS NOT MEASURED FOR THE CERTIFIED WASHES; THE GARMENT IS PERMANENTLY FLAME-RESISTANT.

STORAGE: Store in the original container, protected from moisture.
