MAINTENANCE PICTOGRAMS FOR INDUSTRIAL WASHING EN15797

The ISO 30023 standard provides the pictograms to be used for industrial washing.
In this case, it is a single pictogram that indicates all the processes to be used:
On the left side, we will see the “PRO” symbol, which indicates that the type of washing is industrial.

To the right, we find a series of numbers, one of which has a black background. This number indicates the washing process according to standard #EN15797:

                    • No. 1: White cotton workwear bleached with peracetic acid
                    • No. 2: White polyester/cotton workwear bleached with peracetic acid
                    • No. 3: White cotton workwear bleached with chlorine bleach
                    • No. 4: White polyester/cotton workwear bleached with chlorine bleach
                    • No. 5: White cotton workwear bleached with hydrogen peroxide
                    • No. 6: White polyester/cotton workwear bleached with hydrogen peroxide
                    • No. 7: Colored cotton workwear
                    • No. 8: Polyester/cotton workwear

The right side of the pictogram is divided into two sections. The upper section is the space reserved for indicating that the drying process is in a drum, with a hexagon. The lower section indicates that the drying process is in a tunnel, with a box divided into three rectangles.

By combining all of the above, we obtain the final pictogram.

As examples:

1.Pictogram for industrial washing using procedure 1 and with the two drying options allowed
2. Industrial procedure number 3 and dryer drying
3. Industrial procedure number 5 and tunnel drying
