OBJECT

This standard indicates the minimum parameters for high-visibility garments applicable to all high-visibility garments that must comply with GERT8000

It applies to all staff working near the British railway line. Your garments must meet color and luminance requirements. This rule does not apply to workers on the platform unless they are less than 1.25m from the edge of the platform.

If a high-visibility garment does not have enough surface area to meet Class 2 requirements, it can be worn as long as the other Class 2 garment is not concealed.

REQUIREMENTS

High-visibility garments must meet at least the class 2 requirements of table 1 of BS EN ISO 20471:2013.

If one high-visibility garment meets Class 2 requirements and the other does not have enough surface area to meet Class 2 requirements, it can be worn as long as the Class 2 garment is not concealed.
