SEAMS, JOINTS AND ASSEMBLIES
-The stitching must prevent the penetration of liquids through the stitches or other components of a seam and must not prevent the slippage of the liquid.
-Type 6 suits should also be considered from the result of the spray test of the complete suit.
-Seam strength: according to EN ISO 13935-2, a seam strength of at least class 1 must be obtained.
FEATURES FOR A COMPLETE SUIT
-They must meet the requirements of the EN 13688 standard
-For type 6 garments they must meet the requirements of the “7 movements”:
-Kneel
-Climb the vertical ladder
-Place your hands at chest level
-Kneeling on your right knee
-Extend the arms fully
-Standing with your feet apart
-Kneeling just like movement 4
-For type PB 6 garments, they should not be tested with the light spray test.
-The spray test method based on EN ISO 17491-4 must be modified in some points described in the standard
